Hi, I’m Dustin Hartzler

Husband – I’ve been married to the incredible Melody Hartzler since July 2007. We love to travel, spend time outside, and cook amazing recipes.

Father – I’m the Daddy to a beautiful little girl. Born in March of 2014, our lives have been turned upside down (in a good way of course). I love that I can work from home and spend lots of quality time each day with her.

Happiness Engineer – I work with Automattic, makers of WordPress.com, to help people create websites or blogs. My tasks are to answer user’s support requests, report bugs to developers, update documentation, and help to make WordPress better for everyone.

Podcaster – I have been podcasting about WordPress since 2010 at YourWebsiteEngineer.com. I love finding new information and sharing it with others about WordPress. I used the podcast to grow my business until December 2013, when I shut it down to work at Automattic.
