Apples Galore!

Yesterday we picked 60 pounds of apples. Today we turned the apples into applesauce and apple butter.

We started at 12pm and finished at 9pm and made:

• 11 quarts of applesauce
• 10 pints of applesauce
• 17 cup size jars of apple butter (8oz)
• 24 jelly containers of apple butter for favors as a baby shower (4oz)
